Detailed programme
During this nature walk, you’ll discover how plants have developed incredible self-defence mechanisms against environmental threats: sun, heat, wind, pests and even fire.
Set against the natural backdrop of the Colle Noire massif, the plants reveal their strategies for adaptation and protection, which can be observed first-hand in the field. The tour also highlights the links between the plant world and human uses: many everyday materials, techniques and products – from cosmetics to building insulation – are inspired by the solutions devised by plants.
The walk is punctuated by opportunities for observation and discussion in a friendly atmosphere, whilst enjoying remarkable landscapes and panoramic views.
