Visiting the Toulon harbor by boat is an excellent way to discover its natural environment, with the hills above, as well as its military heritage of forts, towers and, of course, the Arsenal, which has been part of Toulon's history since the 17th century.
Boarding takes place in Toulon harbor. During the tour, you'll be able to admire the military ships docked (including the aircraft carrier Charles-de-Gaulle, depending of course on its current status), the fortifications lining the roadstead, the mussel pens in the Bay of Lazaret, the marine cemetery and the Saint-Mandrier peninsula.
Highlights :
Get up close to the aircraft carrier Charles-de-Gaulle when docked.
Pass by the fishermen's and mussel farmers' huts in the Bay of Lazaret.
Live commentary by the captain.
