The experience on offer
During this guided walk, you’ll learn to observe and recognise the plants around us. Since time immemorial, humans have used plants as a source of food, materials and medicine, whilst learning to avoid poisonous species.
The tour addresses potential confusion between plants that look similar or have similar names, and provides simple tips to help you tell them apart. The walk takes place in the Plan de La Garde Departmental Nature Reserve, a rare freshwater wetland in the Var.
Set amongst forests, meadows and lakes, this outing offers a gradual introduction to local biodiversity and an accessible approach to botany, based on observation and discussion.
