From the Madrague harbor, you follow the coastal path to find the clues left by Fernando, recognize butterflies, know how to observe them, differentiate a butterfly from a moth, find out why the cicada sings.
It's not just about insects, it's also about botany: recognizing the typical plants of the maquis, and its geology. As we make our way along the coast, Fernando reminds us of the importance of the Posidonia meadow, the little “seaweed” that covers our beaches (and which is actually a plant).
All you need to do is put on your shoes (closed-toe sneakers) and follow Fernando for the duration of the walk.
